It has been a pleasure working with Hicom. They have helped us, the Waikato Regional Diabetes Service, develop an upgraded diabetes database that is used by all staff members from administration to clinical staff as an integral part of our daily work. Their technical representative Ben Davis, with whom we had the most communication, was respectful, open and receptive to our needs. They worked with our IT department to make the database compatible with the main existing hospital computer systems. They were prompt in delivering our specific requirements. During the testing phase of the database, the turnaround time to work out the inevitable “bugs” was quick making the system user-friendly. We look forward to our ongoing work with them to further progress the diabetes database and reporting systems.

Digitising our processes has meant that the aim to achieving paperless records throughout the entire Trust is well and truly insightful.
